buenos aires cheese shop

When I was in Argentina last March, I visited every local cheese shop I came across. This one was an open air market on the corner of a busy street in downtown Buenos Aires. They had every type of cheese at different ages, so we got the most aged pecorino sardo along with a few others to make lasagna that night. We went back to our friends apartment, and started cooking. This sardo was so hard we could barely cut it, but it was freaking delicious. This is one of the biggest things I missed when I came back home. Yes, we have killer cheeses available at our cheese shops, Sprouts, Trader Joes, etc. but having a dedicated cheese and meat shop that has every type of cheese in every form was super cool.
